March 29 - March 31:
EuroTeX'98, St. Malo France, organized by GUTenberg, in conjunction with the WEPT'98 (Week on Electronic Publishing and Typography) which will begin Monday, March 30, and ends on Friday, April 3rd, 1998. For more information, see the calendar of events.

A talk will be presented by Dr. Jonathan Fine (Independent Consultant) at 2:00 PM, Room TP4, Cambridge University Computer Laboratory New Museums Site, Pembroke Street, Cambridge, UK. TUG'98 Deadline for receipt of first drafts

The 6th annual meeting of the Polish TeX Users' Group (GUST) will be held in Bachotek, Brodnica Lake District, April 30--May 3, 1998. The theme of the meeting is "TeX - A Standard for Scientific and Technical Publishing". Paper submissions, proposals for tutorials and remarks relating to the programme of the meeting should be sent to the Programme Committee: Tomasz Przechlewski, Uniwersytet Gdansk, ul. Armii Krajowej 119/121, 81--824 SOPOT, POLAND (email: ekotp@univ.gda.pl). Lectures in English are acceptable. The deadline for submissions is 31 March 1998. The 19th annual meeting of the TeX Users Group will take place at the Nicholas Copernicus University, Torun (Poland), from 17th to 21st August 1998. This conference will be organised and hosted by the Polish TeX Users Group GUST. Planning is just commencing, but any enquiries may be addressed to the TUG'98 mailbox. Proposals for papers (which may be on any topic related to computer typesetting or electronic publishing) should be sent to the TUG'98 Programme Committee.
