Placement for the Environment File

The file `tex4ht.env' may be renamed to `.tex4ht', if your system allows names consisting only of the extension part. It can be placed in the following directories.

• Work directory.
• Root directory.
• System directory mentioned in the variable ENVFILE of tex4ht.
• The directory specified within the command line tex4ht, and identified there by the prefix `-e'.
• The directory where the executable tex4ht resides, if the option DOC_C is activated for the compilation of `tex4ht.c'.
