PicTeX is a set of macros for drawing diagrams and pictures. The macros are freely available in graphics/pictex; however, the PicTeX manual itself is not free. It is available for $30 ($35 with the disk) from the TeX Users Group (see TUG). The proceeds from the sales go to Michael Wichura, the author of PicTeX, and to TUG.
