Introduction

Welcome to L^ATEX2_e, the new standard version of the L^ATEX Document Preparation System. This document describes how to take advantage of the new features of L^ATEX, and how to process your old L^ATEX documents with L^ATEX2_e. However, this document is only a brief introduction to the new facilities and is intended for authors who are already familiar with the old version of L^ATEX. It is not a reference manual for L^ATEX2_e nor is it a complete introduction to L^ATEX.
